We are Where We’re Meant to Be

Ever had those days when you look at your self and thought, I haven’t met most of what I desired. Where did the “time” go?

Boy was I was easily buying into the trap for a few seconds, noticed it, and zapped myself out of it as quickly.

We are where we’re supposed to be in life.

We may have a vision for our life, and we want it now. But the truth is we are not fully ready to fulfill it, we aren’t “ripe” yet, even though we see the possibility clearly.

The beauty of life is it gives us the opportunity to learn, make mistakes, get to know ourselves better and groomed for that moment when it walks into our life.

Sometimes our lives have to be completely shaken up, changed and rearranged to relocate us to the place we’re meant to be.

Every person and situation in our life is here to help us discover more about ourselves so that we can evolve into a more conscious and empowered being. If we keep encountering the same situations in life look for the lesson, embrace it, and give thanks for it.

And as we all know journeyers, we are more likely to value and appreciate our blessing when it happens.

Trust the timing of the universe, while doing everything in our power to be ready.

  1. Brilliant blog post Bernice! It’s great to be reminded that life is a journey and not a collection of tasks to be completed. Trust that everything happens in the moment that it is supposed to. This puts the challenges of life into perspective.

  2. Lovely post Bernice! It is so easy to resist what is when things don’t go according to our plans… Trusting that everything is always intended for our best interests helps me to accept even what my mind cannot understand 🙂

  3. A big change gave me that shift last year. Despite the difficulty it has led to me being a much better and happier person. Totally agree with your post. Well said.

  4. When we stop and think about it, the journey it took to get us to where we are right now is amazing. Stop and imagine the effort it took and you will be amazed.

    1. Believe me I understand. There are moments when I’m wrapped up in whatever I’m going through I don’t see clearly. May be I should take a Tai Chi class. 🙂

  5. Love this post. We are all supposed to be right where we are. I read something recently about that: how we ultimately “chose this journey” long before we came to be on this planet. We chose the life we’d have – with its unique set of ups and downs – to experience and allow it to teach us what we need to know before we move on. I always loved that and it resonates with what you say here.
It’s been Mercury retrograde – which disrupts communications – and it ends today. Hopefully that means that all the commenting systems across the internet will work now. Hehe.
    Sending you hugs!

    1. I agree with what you said. I believe I written a post about us choosing to be here. Nonetheless I’m happy to hear today ends mercury retrograde. 😉. Now for the 12-12 energy field. Yay. Haha. Hugs back.

  6. This is such a positive powerful reminder, never too much repeated. I loved how you say ‘I was buying into the trap, quickly zapped myself out of it when noticed!’ 🙂

      1. Oh I preach the same while walking and then often find myself sitting and throwing a tantrum that I don’t reach anywhere LOL …so it is good to get this reminder 🙂

  7. I love the way you put it. So true. I’m being quite impatient myself. I just can’t wait to actually live the life that I have come to envision for myself, given that I certainly have experienced the being shaken up part badly. But maybe you’re right. If it doesn’t materialize yet, maybe I’m just not ready, not ripe yet. I will keep working on it so that I am ready when the time finally, hopefully comes.

  8. I wholeheartedly believe we are exactly where we are meant to be at any given point in time, and those “points” along our journey are crucial to our individual development and getting us to where we are ultimately supposed to be.
