“Notice that autumn is more the season of the soul than of nature.” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
Tis’ the season when we’re moved by the dramatic changes of color, the cooler weather, the descending darkness, and the barren branches.
This is a time that allows us to move into a deeper awareness that we live in a continual cycle of living and dying. It focuses on the vulnerability of life, emphasizing how vital it is to embrace the present.
No time is better than the present to let go of anything that undermines our path.
A time to let go of anger and bitterness,
to let go of relationships or jobs that no longer serve us,
letting go of judgment for ourselves and for all humanity.
This is a universal principle – to grow, we must release something. And in doing so, we can replace it with joy, self-compassion, and kindness.
This is exactly what I love about autumn. It brings us back to ourselves and the things we can let go of.
So true. Thanks for commenting Britt. btw, I like the name of your blog.
Autumn is indeed rich in beauty and profound in how it feels in experience.
It surely is. 🍁💜
“To grow, we must release something”- That was really powerful.
Thank you friend. xo
Autumn really is a special season and yes just as the trees let go of their leaves to renew themselves so what a great idea for us to do the same.
Isn’t it? Nature is always evolving.. .just like us. 🙂
Hi. Real good essay. For many years, autumn has been my favorite season. It brings out my contemplative side. Take care.

Thank you Neil.
Beautiful post Bernice in its simplicity! Have a great week. Anita
Thank you and may you enjoy the days ahead too!
Definitely working on some release practices here. This is a lovely gentle reminder that it is a soothing, nurturing practice <3 <3
Nice. May it go smoothly for you. xo
Autumn is a season of magical transformation. And we are reminded of that magic every time we step outside and breathe in crisp air and see trees bursting with colors so bright and warm. 😊
It’s breathtaking to see the changes occur. Definitely magical. xo
You make it sound beautiful 💖
Aww. Sweet of you. 🤗
No problem 💖
you are so insightful-I always enjoy your posts, but this one especially. Happy Autumn!
Happy Autumn my friend. 🍁🍂
I enjoyed your piece – it is my favorite time of year.
It’s magical. 🦋
Its a very spiritual season. My sister died in fall and when ever the tree in my backyard loses its leaves I remember her and am reminded of the Autumn she died. It is so true endings mean that new beginnings can soon come. ❤
The veil of separation is at its thinnest this time of year. It’s easier to connect with our loved ones on the other side. Messages/thoughts of your sister comes thru as a sign she’s doing well. 💜
Yes she had am amazing spirit that was so bound and shackled in earthly life. I like to think she is freer in the spiritual dimension. <3
I don’t like fall much at all, but you make it sound beautiful.
Thank you. Do you have a favorite season?
Yes! My favorite season is summer. You?
There’s something about each season that I like. 😉
Beautiful words of reflection 👍🏻😊
Thank you! 🦋🌟
Fall has always made me calmer.. and provided clarity to my thoughts.. I love the silence which connects me to me !
You can listen to silence and learn so much from it.
Yes… It’s a gift ❤
It is my favorite time of year. This was nice. Thank you.
I love this time of year myself!
This seems to be the season I get itchy feet and want to travel. Maybe that’s related to shedding all of the things not serving us.
It can be. The holidays can bring about this for many of us. 😉.
It is the season of beginnings and blessings!☺️
Yes! 💜🦋🌸🌟
