As I was rummaging through my closet, I came across Echkart Tolle’s first book “The Power of Now”. Tolle states that every minute you spend worrying about the future or regretting the past is a minute lost because all you have is the present moment.
When was the last time you did absolutely nothing for at least 10 minutes? Maybe you believe you don’t have the time to sit still when you have to cook, do the laundry, or watch your favorite TV show, etc. you get the idea.
Being grateful is a quality that resides within each of us. Unfortunately, there are times when we take for granted the good that is already present in our lives. Gratitude begins by looking within and appreciating the experiences we encounter every day.
