Mid-Year Solstice and Full Moon

IMG_1030

Today, the Full Moon will appear on the same night as the mid-year Solstice. This hasn’t happened to us since 1948.

With Summer Solstice and Full Moon here, it will be a great few days. We’re welcoming Summer in the Northern Hemisphere and Winter in the Southern Hemisphere.

Both SUN and MOON, the symbol of the sacred masculine and sacred feminine energies respectively, reminds us of the harmony and beauty that derives from the union in all of us.

It is a time for reflection, to dissect, examine, and completely own our past deeds, misdeeds, relationships, fears, and flaws. It is a time to acknowledge our avoidance of “old stuff” that seems to crop up in our psyche. It is an excellent time to let go of any old pattern and energies that no longer serve us. This is deep work. It may be shocking and uncomfortable but worth doing because without clearing yourself there will be no real movement – just shuffling back and forth over the same old ground.

It is also a time to shine and radiate your light to others. It’s a day to remind us that there’s no time like NOW to make the changes you’ve been thinking about bringing about. Now is the time to manifest your dreams.

Standing here at the doorway to the second half of the year, what do you wish to encourage in your life?

Let’s unite our prayers for a more expansive, inclusive energy on our planet so we can coexist and mend the way for a brighter future for our children and our children’s children, and all living things on our planet Earth.

  1. So beautiful and so inspiring. Just now I stepped outside my front door and welcomed in the full moon. So strong and vibrant. Feeling strong energy and a sense of hope … thank you.

  2. Thanks for this, I have been feeling this energy very strongly the past two days and meditation has been hell as so much stuff was brought to the surface…I really wish to encourage the truth and the life in me, to live authentically from the heart and to open up my life to all that is love and abundance…With you in prayer

    1. Continue to work out the old stuff. Believe me I know it’s not easy. It can take time depending if there’s any resistance to shed it off. But you’ll feel like a new person in no time.

  3. A beautiful post. Although I’m not sure if that does it justice. I love your call for unity, love and a better tomorrow. We need as much of that as possible. Here’s to a brighter future where love and unity reign. where hate and inequality are concepts existing only in the past.

  4. Wow, thank you for letting us know! And what a great take on the Solstice’s energy too. Thank you so much for sharing. I am united with you!
