Riding the Transformation Wave

If you want something new, you have to stop doing something old.” ~  Peter F. Drucker

Hope you’re all doing well Journeyers.  Wanted to give you an update on what’s going on since I haven’t been writing much lately.

I sold my home.  My home has always been a sanctuary, my personal space. But when that “For Sale” sign went up on the front lawn, I gasped because I knew I had to be prepared to bare all.  It was the real thing.

I’ve been packing, decluttering, and/or donating things lately.  This week, I began looking for a place to live, since I have to leave the house squeaky clean by 3rd week of June.  I did see a few places and was not happy.  Photos can be deceiving. 🙂

Life is a continuous journey of transformation, a time of growth, a time of being. I’m riding the transformation wave.

My life has to crumble in some way in order to be transformed. This process can be emotional/sad but it is also one of the most magical and enlightening experiences that I’m going through.

Completely letting go of what has been and having the willingness to be without even knowing what that might be. Having faith and trust it will all work out.

Looking forward to connecting again soon. Till then,  stay well. xo

  1. I’ve missed your quiet presence on my blog, liking and encouraging me along! I think Bernice you are well ready for this change and I am excited waiting to hear what opens up to you! Savour every moment.

  2. Change is great Bernice but I understand the feeling of sadness expressed in the post. For me, it’s like a sense of nostalgia. The memories attached to the home. Wishing you best luck! 😊🌸

  3. You have been on my mind so much-how glad I was to see this post. Things are surely moving along. How I admire you- You have that “peace that passeth understanding”. Go well and follow your path with joy . . .Godspeed-love Michele

  4. Love this post and quote. It’s also slightly similar to that saying ‘when God wants you to grow, he makes you uncomfortable’. We need change, and for things to be unsettled in order for us to find a new way. And things would be boring if nothing ever changed right? Keep having faith! Everything is always working out for the best, I hope you find the perfect house for you soon. 🙂

  5. Hi, you sound as if things are really starting to move for you on your new life ! It really is exciting and can be full of great surprises, wish we could sit down and share a coffee, with you all the way take care, keep in touch xx

    1. Hi there!! It’s been some time I’ve seen you around. You also went through a transformation yourself. Hope you’re doing well and in a good space. A big hug. ~ Bernice

  6. As we always like your presence and commentary here, it’s with a little sadness that we hear you may be gone for a break. Our home is our sanctuary and renting is not always the same. But you’re right. These are growth intervals and as long as we look at them that way we can move beyond whatever lies in our path in the present.

I wish you the very best moving forward. <3
