Real Peace is Within

Do you feel the anger, hate, and rage in our world today? The dark builds upon our energies and if you’re sending out fear, well my friends, you’re creating more fear. You’re playing into the fear game without you knowing it.

There are many who fight wars aimed at peace. Many peace activists are carrying arms to force their way upon others. Although these measures may have love and peace at their root, they still are creating much unease and distress.

One of the universal laws – Law of Attraction – states that if you focus on positive or negative thoughts, a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life.

If history has shown us anything, it is that we cannot attain peace by fighting for it. Struggles and opposition are NOT the way to go, even in the name of peace.

To find peace,
we need to go beyond our restless mind,
in the stillness of our hearts,
recognize that we are peace itself.

Let’s get together to hold space for love and peace around the world.

Our centering thought for today is:

“Real peace is not in power, money, or weapons, but in deep inner peace.” ~Thích Nhất Hạnh

  1. Peace is really within us!!!
    But our wants and needs also desires have taken our peace!!!!
    One should believe in within and contribute to society and nature. Peace we restore itself!!
    Nice post awesome work!!

  2. God I love this! Your sentence here is so powerful: “To find peace, we need to go beyond our restless mind, in the stillness of our hearts, recognize that we are peace itself.”

    Funny, because I’m just about to do a free evening “Making Peace with Myself”!! Your blog just inspired me. (The evening is online if you want to participate – you would be a blessing to it)

    Many peace and love wishes your way,

    1. I wasn’t aware I had any comments since my phone app is not working. Debbie you’re definitely an inspiration spreading forgiveness to self and to others which I believe is key in our lives. I’ll pass around your blog in a bit to read more about this free online class.

  3. “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
    And the government will rest on His shoulders;
    And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Eternal Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

    When trials come, we can call on God to help us through periods of unrest, and he will give us a peace that surpasses all our understanding! 🙏🏼

  4. i like this post its thought provoking, short and sweet! but i don’t think that being peaceful collectively will bring peace in this world (at this moment in time anyway)…some of us are going to have to die to get peace and others are going to have to live to maintain it (sorry to bring a che guevara type vibe!) PEACE!

  5. Beautiful. Sometimes peace is elusive and other times it’s just there, within us, so easily found if we keep our heart and mind open.

  6. To find peace we have to go beyond our restless mind. Peace is just within us we need to analysis it, isn’t it? It was such a peaceful read that make us to encounter such an important way to live a peaceful life.
