An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.
“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, regret, greed, arrogance, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”
He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
~ A Cherokee Legend
Everyone has both negative and positive thoughts flying around their heads everyday – the trick is deciding which of these you will listen to. Feed the negative thoughts and you’re likely to end up experiencing stress, fear and sadness. Feed the positive thoughts and you’re likely to experience happiness, fun and peace.
It boils down to a simple choice…and it’s up to you.

Oh yes, this is a classic one. Sometimes it’s harder than it sounds but definitely worthwhile, keeping the positive thoughts at the forefront and the bad wolf at bay!
