Hello Journeyer’s –
With Tax Season in full bloom, I have been working 6 days a week. And since living alone, my friends are asking me out again to dinner, walks, plays, etc. and if I’m up to it, I graciously accept their invitation. I enjoy spending time with them, however, with all the busyness, at the end of the day, I look forward to coming home and spending time with “me.”
Do you get what I’m saying?
The thought of removing my shoes, getting out of my clothes and into my PJs’ or something comfy like sweats puts a smile on my face. I call this time my “me” time. It’s teaching me to enjoy my own company again. It’s merely time just to be, recharge and reset my mind, body and spirit.
Sometimes, you need to alone.
Not to be lonely, but to enjoy your free time being yourself.
Till then, enjoy BEing with your divine self.
I totally agree with this. I spent the day by myself last Wednesday and it was wonderful.
I totally understand this time!
Oh tax season. Wheweee! Even in February/March you’re working 6 days a week!? Oof. Thinking of you. I *completely* understand the me time thing. I crave that, too, as any introvert would. 🙂
Sending you hugs and wishes to get through the tax season without too much angst.
Thank you. Yeah. We also handle audits, prepare financial statements, etc. Busy busy. Can’t wait for April 15 and have my weekends back!! 😉
Ditto
Very true 🙂
So true and I agree totally with these simply marvelous and awesome words, Bernice. Just Me time and BEing in that space. Awesome picture too.
Thank you! ✨
Welcome.
I resonate with your thoughts, Bernice. Being an introvert, me time is crucial. I need my daily time-out to function properly. Have a great week! 😊
I noticed there are lots of introverts here. Enjoy your week ahead too!
Yes, me too is the best, especially for me to recharge as an introvert. PJs and nature are two of my favorites! 🙂
PJ and nature are two of my favs too! Ha Enjoy the rest of your week.
Yes I am an introvert and need time alone for my wellbeing. I can’t cope being around people for too long. Like the above poster I also have fibro and other long term conditions.
I agree Bernice, It’s much better also to be alone and not be lonely than to be in a crowd and lonely! I find “Me” time is so necessary in managing my fibro/fatigue. Beautiful post, glad you are looking after “you.”
Thank you Marie.
I agree with you 👍💖
TOTALLY AGREE TO THIS 😊
Best time of all….<3
I get you.
