Looking at Life as an Adventure

Hello Journeyers, hope you’re all happy and healthy.

Wanted to let you know that after three years of being on my own, of transition and creation, an opportunity fell on my lap. But by the time I had the chance to consider it, the door quickly closed. As good fortune would have it, a few days later, another opportunity came knocking on my door. This time, the door was wide open.

The opportunity is on the other side of the country, San Diego, CA.

A friend of mine sent me something that read, “When you have two good choices, always go with the one that scares you the most because that’s the one that’s going to help you grow.”

With an open heart, I decided to take the plunge and relocate. My sister said I could crash at her house if I choose to return to NY. It was as if I was listening to a sweet and comforting melody. I will miss my family and friends a heck of a lot (wiping my eyes).

As you can see from the photos, I came back from a retreat in Sedona, Arizona. Ah, the centers of energy known as the vortexes and the gorgeous red rock views. There was a sense of recharge and fulfillment that is indescribable. It was here that sealed the decision for me to move across the country.

On my last night in Arizona, a dear soul said “Look at your life as an adventure”.

The photos don’t do justice at all. You can’t possibly capture the essence of that experience on film. But can you feel it anyway?
