“One day, your heart will stop beating, and none of your fears will matter. What will matter is how you lived.” ~ Henri Junttila
I love this quote. What do we have to do to live a great life? Maybe overcome a few of our fears?
Believe it or not, safety is about freedom from fear. Fears intention is to protect itself. What you created in fear must be dismantled. And the way you begin is on a conscious level.
Wayne W. Dyer wrote in The Power of Intention, “if we focus on what’s ugly, we attract more ugliness into our thoughts, and then into our emotions and ultimately into our lives.” Ugh. Who wants that?
It’s time to change the way we think and speak. A working definition for intention is: “to have in mind a purpose or plan, to direct the mind, to aim.” Lacking intention, we sometimes stray without meaning or direction. But with it, all the forces of the universe can align to make even the most impossible, possible.
Below are 3 techniques that will help you in your daily life:
Write it down:
I’ve had a journal for a number of years. I remember when it was called a diary. 😉 Writing down your struggles and dealing with them head-on will bring clarity and will increase your self-awareness and understand why you’re feeling this way.
Have Faith:
Believe you are worthy! Believe you can achieve what you want out of life. It may not happen on your schedule, but life has an interesting way of working things out. Haven’t you figured that out yet?
A good affirmation would be: “I am choosing to release myself from any belief created out of fear to keep me in my limitation. I am worthy. I am free. I am free.”
Let Go:
This may be the hardest one of all. I know it was for me. At times, we hold on to something because we feel it empowers us; however, holding on only weakens us. What I have learned through my journey is this “accept what may or may not develop. Focus on the present moment and less on the fear itself”.
Change is never easy when you’re invested in your old behavior. Use your vision to give focus on becoming who you want to be or do; not on the challenges that lie in the way.
Be willing to be your best in living a great life. You’re worthy of it!

Great compliment! I’m smiling.
It’s so difficult to handle fear. You are so right to let it go but it is most definitely easier said than done. I along with many others will just keep on trying. Thank you for this.
Brilliant blog post! Thanks for these techniques, they are really useful 🙂
You’re so welcome 💕

Aww thank you for kind words. 💞
Great post. I am worthy. I am free. Love it.
You are worthy…and you know it. 🙂
This reminds me of the scripture, “do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself”. If we focus on all that needs to be done in the future then we’ll feel weighed down but if we give that burden to Jesus he’ll help us through it! Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome Shelda. Thanks for sharing.
🙂 We might as well live our lives to the fullest!
I’d like to think so. 🙂
