Intentions

Through determination and unabated intention, you can begin the process of assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled, imagining it, living it in your mind, and feeling it in your body ~ Wayne Dyer

I haven’t had the desire to write lately. The weather is beautiful and I’ve been bitten by the summer bug AND my son was home for a few days. Can’t get any better than that.

Before he came home, I came upon this crumpled paper in one of my closets. Reading it brought a smile to my face. I don’t remember how it got there, but I remembered how it came to be. It felt like it was just yesterday.

When my son was in his teens, he wanted to know how he can change the landscape of his reality. There were a few personal goals he wanted to accomplish.

“Write your goals down. Keep the paper somewhere that you’ll see it every day. Imagine that you achieved it and make sure you feel it in your body” I said to him.

He did just that. He taped the paper to the wall above his desktop.

  1. What a great post, and I love it. Intention is crucial to live intentionally and to live a life of purpose. Thanks for sharing.

  2. That’s so nice to learn that. I have a habit of keeping a digital to-do list for each day in my phone. I feel more focused and productive with this habit.
