Go Within Every Day and Find Your Inner Strength

I wake up early when the world is quiet. I wrap myself in a blanket and sit down to take time out to meditate and pray over situations for clarity and a sense of calm.

I begin by breathing. As I inhale, I’m aware of how my body feels as well as what’s going on with my thoughts and emotions. As I exhale, with intention, I let go of anything that doesn’t concern me at that moment. I get in touch with a place inside myself where conflict, self-doubt, and judgment cease to exist.

Prayer and meditation are similar practices in that they both offer us a connection to our Creator.

Prayer is when we ask the universe for something, and meditation is when we listen.

With prayer and meditation we form a 2-way communication to our creator and we begin to have a genuine conversation with the universe. We just need to open up our hearts to look within for guidance. It is this faith that unites us in spirit.

By going within to my inner temple, I open my heart to receive the infinite abundance of Love that is our right and our divine inheritance. I go within to find the inner strength so that the world will not blow my candle out. Afterwards, I send Love to all, without any judgments.

I greet each new day with gratitude and with a sense of renewed energy.

  1. Do you find that you have more Energy on Focus on days you Meditate Vs Days you don’t? Or is it unrelated for you?…? I wonder sometimes if much of my exhaustion is through too much going on in my head,..and therefore if doing Meditation more often might ironically have more Energy to get more of the Important done. Thank you

    1. Hi. I feel more in sync with myself. Clear headed and a sense of peace – if you understand what I’m saying. If you are too much in your head – it will manifest physical exhaustion, that’s for sure. I’ve been there plenty of times. 🙂 Take care, Bernice

      1. thank you so much..and after going through the blog, please recommend some of the best spiritual books that you have come across.

  2. Wonderful way to start (or end) each day. Must admit I’m finding it difficult to meditate lately, though when I’m walking in nature I tend to find my calm centre there so perhaps that’s also good. Lovely post.

  3. Meditation also known to create direction with god as well to our inner soul that’s what I had read somewhere some days back. Splendous post!

  4. “I go within to find the inner strength so that the world will not blow my candle out.” Yes!! Thank you for this.

  5. Wonderful post.
It reminds me that I must make meditating a priority. Every time I meditate I’m at peace the whole day.
    Thanks for sharing.

  6. Oh dear, computere gremlin psoted my comment before I finished ! I was going to say that I have been meditating for years. I am at a bit of a loss as to why this is so at the moment

    1. I’ve read in more than one place that we’re receiving “downloads” much more and energy is changing. When I’m at a bit of a loss I read out loud certain prayers.
