Forgiveness

Forgiveness is often seen as a sign of weakness. But in reality, it takes great strength to forgive someone who has wronged you. By forgiving, you are choosing to let go of anger and resentment, and instead, focus on healing and moving forward.

Studies have shown that forgiveness can bring physical, mental, and emotional benefits. For example, forgiveness has been linked to lower blood pressure, reduced anxiety and depression, and increased self-esteem. When we forgive those who have hurt us, we also give ourselves the gift of peace. So next time you find it hard to forgive someone, remember that forgiveness is a powerful act of self-care. It might not be easy, but it is always worth it.

  1. Great blog post!🕯️Anger is a toxic emotion and one we all experience from time to time. Forgiveness to the ego is a sign of weakness. By choosing to ‘let go’ of the pain doesn’t make the other person right. But forgiveness is a selfless way to protect yourself from toxic emotion. ‘A powerful act of self-care’.😇

  2. It is indeed a very powerful thing to forgive ourselves. Until we do it is one of those blocks we put in place to our love, the reason for our ever searching for that love and happiness ‘out there’, not realizing it is that block that is hiding it within us. Great post dear lady 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

      1. Sun is shining, lots of clear air to breathe and even the magpies are singing to me…which means I’ve neglected to give them food. Time to go out and have a chat I think 🤣 I hope your world is well also dear lady, thank you 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
