The word enlightenment conjures up the idea of some superhuman accomplishment, and the ego likes to keep it that way, but it is simply your natural state of felt oneness with Being. Eckhart Tolle
Enlightenment begins as a conceptual understanding. It then makes its journey from the head to the heart. It’s not enough for the brain to know something if the heart hasn’t fully embraced it. For those interested in transforming our world – we would more or less need to change ourselves.
Let this be a week of practical application. In the days ahead, let’s apply something we intellectually understand but know in our hearts we haven’t fully integrated into the core of who we are yet.
It could be forgiving someone. It could be trying to understand someone. It could be dropping our obsession with the past. It could be releasing the future. It could be trying to live more fully in the present. It could be making a serious effort to be kinder, listen better, or be more aware of the feelings of others. It could be a healthier lifestyle. It could be praying for others. It could be developing a more generous spirit.
You choose. Choose wisely. Choose with intent.
It is very true of enlightenment for how it looks in every day life – it is practical way of being with compassion for self and others, living aware and awake to the moments.
Yes! Yes! Yes! π
It is so true. From head to heart, application and only then transformation. Repeat until transformed. A beautiful positive aim for the week. Thank you
Iβm glad to hear that it resonates with you. I hope this week is a positive one!! πβοΈ
And precede it with a smile, hearts will listen instead of defending π β€οΈ ππ½ π¦
