A Conversation with God

Me: Hey God.
God: Hello.
Me: I’m falling apart. Can you put me back together?
God: I would rather not.
Me: Why?
God: Because you aren’t a puzzle.
Me: What about all of the pieces of my life that are falling onto the ground?

God: Let them stay there for a while. They fell off for a reason. Take some time and decide if you need any of those pieces back.
Me: You don’t understand! I’m breaking down!
God: YOU don’t understand. You are breaking through. What you are feeling are just growing pains. You are shedding the things and the people in your life that are holding you back. You aren’t falling apart. You are falling into place. Relax. Take some deep breaths and allow those things you don’t need anymore to fall off of you. Quit holding onto the pieces that don’t fit you anymore. Let them fall off. Let them go.
Me: Once I start doing that, what will be left of me?
God: Only the very best pieces of you.
Me: I’m scared of changing.
Me: Becoming who?
God: Becoming who I created you to be! A person of light and love and charity and hope and courage and joy and mercy and grace and compassion. I made you far more than the shallow pieces you have decided to adorn yourself with- such as greed and fear. Let those things fall off of you. I love you! Don’t change! Become! Become! Become! Become who I made you to be. I’m going to keep telling you this until you remember it.
Me: There goes another piece.
God: Yep. Let it be.
Me: So…I’m not broken?
God: No. You are breaking like the dawn. It’s a new day. Become!!

  1. This has been misattributed. It’s actually written by John Roedel from Hey God. Hey John.

  2. One person’s madness is another person’s Revelations:
    So, here’s a Message…

    For those who Pray
    ‘Please let it be
    GOD’S SON who comes
    to set us free’.

    The time has come
    GOD’S SON is near
    JOHN says, ‘I’m here’.

    ”Who’s JOHN?”
    I asked the atmosphere
The Baptist whispered in my ear
    ‘John Emmanuel Zeus
    don’t fear
    JEZEUS the Holy Spirit’s Sincere
    Big Brother has been watching
    Dear Good Omni-escent Deity’.

    I wasn’t Religious or academic
so what was I supposed to think?

To think you thought He didn’t care
when all this time your cares He’d share
    He wore them well
    so you could tell Him
    what they were
    to ease Despair…

    ‘Yes!’ He whispered
    cutting into my thoughts…

  3. Neale Donald Walsch wrote a book called ‘Conversations With GOD’ … and many more followed.

A few years ago, I happened to be persuaded by my COSMIC GUIDE to pick one up called ”MORE CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD – An Uncommon Dialogue” …

Is it really just a coincidence…or was I meant to find this lost poem? I am told that Neale Donald Walsch is my Isotopic Yang Brother. Otherwise the greatest difference between us is…I wasn’t brought up with Dogma to overcome. XXX

    1. Hi. I believe you were meant to pick up the book to provide you a nudge regarding the title of the book, the author or what was written. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Much appreciated! πŸ¦‹

      1. I’m not sure whether or not you understood that I was saying,..that I’m pretty sure that conversation with God, posted as author unknown, is taken from one of Neale’s books XXX

    2. This is not written by Neal. It’s been misattributed. It’s written by John Roedel. He wrote a book called Hey God. Hey John. Which is also the name of his Facebook page.

      1. Thank you for clearing up that mystery. The only niggling doubt I had was the tone of the dialogue.
It does sound more like a satirical version of Neal’s genuine conversations with God Xxx
I think John’s witty versions of conversations with God appeal to a wider none Religious audience than Neal’s Xxx

  4. Love this! Thanks for posting it! I wrote something similar in a different format, but I never posted it. I was just looking at in my drafts the last few days and thinking about posting it. I think this may have given me the courage to do so.πŸ’–

  5. It fits right in to this pandemic situation. Sometimes I feel like I am losing something but it is really not!
    Thank you, Bernice πŸ’•πŸ’«
