Do You Need a Hug Today?

Sometimes All We Need Is A Hug To Make Us Realize That Everything Will Soon Be Alright.

I woke up feeling exhausted on Friday.

My heart ached when I heard about the latest shooting that took place Friday morning in Dallas, TX. My sister and her family lives an hour away from the incident and were overcome with emotions. We were all touched by it somehow or another.Β

After three grueling interviews with top executives for a nearby company, I found out on Friday afternoon I didn’t get the job. I was saddened by the news but after I stopped the “shitty committee” from talking in my head, I knew in my heart that something else is in the works for me.

When I got home, comforting words and a hug went a long way. xx

  1. Sorry you didn’t get the job. There’s more down the path, and the path will lead the way. There is always something positive to take away in every situation.

  2. Sometimes a hug is the only thing we need. πŸ™‚ No words, just a hug … it speaks a lot … sends a lot of silent positive messages.

  3. Boy oh boy do I totally understand exactly what you are saying. Hang in there, you will get the job that is right for you. I know how hard it is when you don’t get asked for a job that you interview for, trust me I get that. But you are a strong person and I know the perfect job is around the corner for you.

  4. I always tell myself that if one thing doesn’t turn out, then it wasn’t meant to be because something better is waiting around the corner. Peace and blessings to you. πŸ™‚
